PNR San Pedro-Carmona Spur Line (Plus Pacita Station)

12 11 2009

Last Saturday (Nov. 7), I explored the PNR San Pedro-Carmona spur line, before going to my cousin’s house in Pacita Complex, San Pedro. I really want to see this line right before my eyes because it’s quite near our home in Muntinlupa, yet I didn’t had a chance to have a train ride here.

I started my exploration in Pacita Complex station and walked towards the branch. Here’s what I’ve got:

1
Some informal settlers voluntary evict in the PNR’s right of way in San Pedro.

2

It’s a double line from the former Cosmos Bottling Corp. up to here. The rail on the left is the San Pedro-Carmona line, and the other one is from Bicol. BTW, I’m facing northwards here.

And a few informer settlers voluntary evict in the San Pedro-Carmona branch.

I think this is the most beautiful house in the branch.

5

A railway curve. Notice that the wooden ties are partially covered by cement.

The first railroad crossing of the San Pedro-Carmona branch in Pacita Complex, nearby Casa del NiƱo School.

Pacita Complex station at breaking dawn. Still an active station.

The signpost.

Supposedly, this is the station office. I hope that the PNR Management preserve this.
